TO THE MEMORY OF THE LATE REV. MR. WILLIAM JOHNSON.
An humble muse resumes the plaintive strain:
A tribute due to sacred piety;
And mourns, a blessing now removed from hence.
Heaven claims the saint, his pilgrimage is o'er,
No more with us, an ill-designing race;
He joins his kindred spirit, now in bliss,
And sings with angels, Worthy is the Lamb.
